WWA DOA Policy

Live Arrival Guarantee & DOA Policy


At Water World Aquatics, we take great pride in the health, color, and vitality of every coral we ship. Each coral is hand-selected, inspected, and packaged using professional-grade materials and overnight delivery methods to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.


Shipping Coverage


We currently ship live corals to all 48 contiguous U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

We do not ship live animals to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or other U.S. territories due to transit times and increased risk to livestock.


All orders are shipped overnight via FedEx or UPS using insulated packaging and heat or cold packs as needed.

Shipments are scheduled Monday through Wednesday only to prevent weekend delays.



Live Arrival Guarantee


We guarantee all live coral orders will arrive alive and in healthy condition when the following conditions are met:

  1. The package is accepted on the first delivery attempt by the carrier.
     
  2. Accurate shipping and contact information is provided at checkout.
     
  3. Our acclimation guidelines are followed upon arrival (included with your shipment and available on our website).
     


Reporting a DOA (Dead on Arrival)


If your coral arrives dead or in poor condition, please contact us within 2 hours of the posted delivery time as shown by the carrier.

To file a DOA claim:

  1. Email [insert your business email address] within 2 hours.
     
  2. Include clear photos of the coral in its original, unopened bag.
     
  3. Briefly describe the issue in your message.
     

Claims submitted after 2 hours or without photos of the coral in the sealed bag cannot be honored.

Replacements & Credits


If your claim is approved:


  • You’ll receive store credit for the coral’s purchase price (shipping excluded).
     
  • Replacements may be offered if identical or comparable items are available.
     
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
     


Exclusions & Limitations

Our Live Arrival Guarantee does not cover losses due to:

  • Carrier delays, weather disruptions, or missed first delivery attempts.
     
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the buyer.
     
  • Improper acclimation or removal from the shipping bag before documentation.
     
  • Free or promotional items.
     


Customer Responsibilities


  • Track your shipment and be available to receive it.
     
  • Follow our acclimation steps immediately upon delivery.
     
  • Inspect the corals while they are still sealed in their bags.
     
  • Contact us promptly if an issue occurs.
     


Acceptance of Terms


By purchasing live corals from Water World Aquatics, you acknowledge and agree to all terms of this Live Arrival Guarantee & DOA Policy.


This policy is subject to change without notice and applies to all live coral purchases.



Legal Disclaimer


Water World Aquatics LLC is not responsible for losses resulting from carrier delays, extreme weather, or circumstances beyond our control.


All disputes are governed by the laws of the State of California, and venue shall lie in Santa Clara County, California.
